Job Overview:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Child Care Providers to join our growing team in New Zealand for 2025. This role is ideal for individuals who cherish the opportunity to nurture and support young children in a safe and stimulating environment. As a Child Care Provider, you will play a crucial role in fostering children's development and well-being while engaging in fun and educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Encourage positive behaviour and provide guidance to children to develop social skills and emotional resilience.
Create a nurturing, inclusive environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and learning.
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and behaviors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized play and learning environment.
Collaborate with team members and other professionals to support children's individual needs.
Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in child care.
Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with New Zealand regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in child care or early childhood education preferred.
Qualifications in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or a related field will be highly regarded.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine love for working with children.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of New Zealand's Early Childhood Education curriculum and regulatory requirements is a plus.
Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
A clean police record and a commitment to child protection.
